Exchange Policy

At Chalk we want you to love what you buy, so if for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept exchanges to the following terms and conditions. This applies only to clothes bought directly from Chalk online shop. It does not apply to accessories and stationery. If you bought yours through one of our stockists, please contact the store for its exchange policy.

Exchanges will only be accepted under the following circumstances:

  1. You have received the wrong merchandise; you did not receive what you ordered as listed in the confirmation email (sent to you when you place your order.).
  2. You have ordered the wrong size.
  3. Merchandise for exchanges must reach us within 15 days from the date of the delivery date.
  4.  In the unlikely event that you receive an item with a manufacturer’s defect, you must email us (subject “Returns”) within 3 days of receiving the product to be eligible for the exchange.
  5. For exchanged items of a lower value than the returned merchandise, the excess amount will be issued as store credit. Customers will have to pay for the difference in value for exchanged items of a higher value than the returned merchandise.
  6. Clothes must be returned together with the original invoice and in original condition, not damaged, stained, worn, altered or washed, and with all tags attached. When trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing makeup/perfume/deodorant which may leave marks or a scent on the item.
  7. All incurred shipping and handling charges are payable by the customer and non-refundable. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit and highly recommend that you use a delivery service that has adequate tracking capability.
  8. Items on Sale are not exchangeable.
     

How to Exchange

Email us (subject “Returns”) at CONTACT US link with your name & address, order number, item description and reason for return. Please wait for our reply and instructions before shipping an item back to us. Please ensure returned clothing is packaged safely, as we cannot accept damaged returns.

Chalk has the right to refuse return of goods that do not meet our return policy requirements. Please also note that we cannot be responsible for lose packages. We cannot stress how important it is to send your package via a shipping method that has adequate tracking capability. We cannot issue a refund if your package is lost or damaged. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

Once we receive the item in good order, we will issue you an exchange or store credit should the item you wish to exchange is no longer in stock as we do not offer refunds. Store credit must be utilized within 30 calendar days of issue.
